The Guest Accommodation at Wolds Village has been our largest project to date. We spent the best part of three years creating something a little bit different and a little bit special
On the outside you can see we have created what could have been an old stable block using only reclaimed bricks and pan tiles for the exterior facings. This gives a feel of a restored building rather than a brand new one, allowing it to blend in with the existing Grade Two listed buildings
On the inside we have used all the latest in building techniques and materials to give seven spacious sound proofed en suite rooms with a filtered fresh air ventilation system. Each of the rooms has been designed after a different historical period. The earliest being Tudor, then Georgian, followed by Victorian, Gothic Victorian, Edwardian, Art Nouveau and Art Deco - there's something for everyone.
Below is the Tudor room set within an old oak framed building with its Tester bed, Oak panelling complete with authentic bows and twists and reclaimed beamed ceiling

The Victorian boasts a four poster, mahogany panelling and reclaimed beamed ceiling. The warm welcoming glow from the deep red decor makes this room one of the favourites

The Georgian room is set around 1760, the date when the main building at Wolds Village was built

The Victorian Gothic with its detailed oak panelling and heavy carving.

The refreshing pale tones of the Edwardian room - this room is equiped for disabled use.

Bright colourful murals decorate the walls of the Art Nouveau room
Art Nouveau Bathroom - all bathrooms are the same size & have the same fittings, they are however all decorated differently to match the bedroom that they are attatched to
Last but by no means least....Minimalist and Classic Art Deco
 Art Deco Bathroom
The room rate for double occupancy is £80.00 per night inclusive of full Yorkshire breakfast and £60 per night for single occupancy. |
