The Gallery on the
Wolds
Situated in the Heart of the Yorkshire Wolds, an area which
has inspired many local artists including David Hockney, who
has a large body of work based on this area. “Tall Trees
at Warter” was painted less than 5 miles away.
The Gallery has been created by renovating an old barn over
a two year period, we opened our doors in November 2008.

The gallery is used to display the work of many local artists,
changing regularly. We hold open exhibitions several times
a year

Sally’s work is on permanent display
in the gallery. Her paintings are currently coming under
the theme of “What lies beneath”, using
mixed media, acrylic inks & found objects to create
texture. Her imagination runs wild with ideas of what
can be found under the physical & emotional surface
of our lives.
Sally also loves to create mosaics, the 25ft dragon
being a larger creation. Watch the blog space for news
of forthcoming workshops
Sally often works with local schools and regularly
exhibits childrens artwork |
